Rural Crime - Crime Prevention - Surrey Police

Rural crime

Countrywatch LogoSurrey's rural communities can help reduce and prevent crime by taking some simple steps to secure their estates and businesses. Isolated properties, farm buildings, machinery and livestock are all targets for criminals. Surrey Police encourages rural communities to be vigilant, report any suspicious activity to the police and continuously review security.

By considering the crime prevention advice given below as well as joining the Surrey Police Country Watch scheme, rural communities can make life much more difficult for criminals. You can find out more about the Country Watch scheme including information about how to become a member by visiting the Country Watch section of the website
