Although Surrey is one of the safest counties in England and Wales, reducing domestic burglary is a priority for Surrey Police and we are taking robust action to reduce these distressing crimes and convict the criminals involved. On the run up to Christmas, when burglaries historically increase, we will be undertaking several activities on top of our 'business as usual' prevention and detection work. We aim to help Surrey residents protect themselves from burglars, and to target both local criminals and those that travel in from outside the county. This page will give you an insight and regular updates on what we are doing, and provide crime prevention advice so you can keep your family and your property safe, and help Surrey Police 'beat the burglar'.
