Transfer to Surrey

To help maintain our reputation as one of the UK's most innovative police forces - and our status as England's safest county - we constantly aim to strengthen our capability. To this end, we actively seek to recruit seasoned officers on level transfer from other UK forces.
We are always keen to hear from constables who may be interested in joining us. In certain instances you will be required to complete a probationary period and/or adaptation training. We are currently not accepting transferees into the rank of Sergeant. Surrey Police require all transferee applicants to be transferring from Home Office forces and have completed the full IPLDP programme or equivalent and have successfully completed their probationary period
We are actively recruiting for PC Response Officers to join our Targeted Patrol Teams across the county; successful applicants will need to be Response driver qualified before commencing employment within Surrey Police.
At this time we are especially seeking applications from Detective Constables;
in particular Officers with experience in Public Protection, however detectives with experience in Reactive and Proactive crime will also be prioritised.
We would also like to encourage PCs with sound investigative experience and/or PIP
Level 1 who are interested in undertaking a detective learner. We cannot guarantee
any applicant will automatically go onto the Learner but if they are suitable, we
will assess and consider progression to the Learner Programme.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and professional Detective Constable to join Surrey Police as a Child Protection/ Public Protection Force Advisor. This role supports the work of Public Protection investigations with regard to Child Protection and offers an opportunity to be really involved in identifying issues and potential risks to victims and the way incidents are dealt with on a day to day basis. The work will involve influencing and negotiating with people internally and externally so good communication skills are essential. You will also be the professional advisor for child protection and some general areas of public protection, promulgating best practice, ensuring an effective and efficient process and service delivery.
