Primary Disclosure
Upon receipt of a Court Order or request for Information for Civil Proceedings (Data Protection Act (DPA) S.35), Surrey Police will make an initial assessment of the work required to make the “Primary Disclosure” (Copies of PNC Records, Incident Serials and Crime Summary Reports). Where the estimate is that more than FIVE hours will be required, contact will be made with the solicitor or the court to provide the opportunity to refine the order. Otherwise primary disclosure will be charged at the rates below.
Secondary Disclosure
Where the Court / applicant subsequently requests specific documents such as statements or copies of interviews relating to information previously supplied under a Primary Disclosure the charging rate will be at £25 per hour plus the specific documents will attract additional charges at the prevailing rate below.
